ABOUT US   What is Yonkers Business Week? It’s a week-long salute to what business is-and can be-in Yonkers. The City of Yonkers Office of Economic Development organize it each year to showcase current businesses in Yonkers-and the benefits Yonkers offers to those considering starting, expanding, or relocating a business here. Yonkers Business Week is the only forum in the metropolitan area that presents an entire week of opportunities to share in information that will assist in strengthening businesses and helping them grow to the next level. Events at sites throughout Yonkers include panel discussions and seminars that offer information on practical issues from taxes to workforce development to the basics of starting and growing a business. Yonkers Business Week also includes many networking and social functions, also with prominent guest speakers. A highlight will be Yonkers’ Annual Business Awards Dinner. For the last nine years, this annual event has helped Yonkers strengthen the mutually beneficial relationship between the city’s government and its business community.
