Martin Ball is the Financial Center Manager for Citibank’s Yonkers Financial Center. He is responsible for managing the portfolio of the Center’s clients, deepening the relationship of assigned portfolios and growing revenue by cross-selling additional business and non-business solutions to his clients. The Yonkers Financial Center is one of the most successful financial centers for Citibank in the Northeast Division. In 2007, Martin was named a CitiStar, which means he was one of the Top Performers in Business Banking in the Northeast Division. He was also part of Citi’s Million Dollar Club in 2007 for Business Banking.
Prior to joining Citibank, Martin was an Economic Development Specialist for the City of Yonkers in the Office of Economic Development. He worked on the relocation of new businesses to Yonkers and helped retained existing businesses. He also worked on several of the large scale development projects such as: Forest City Ratner’s Ridge Hill Village, SFC’s Riverpark Center, the Alexander Street Housing Development, the Nepperhan Valley Technology Center, the HOPE VI Housing Development, and a host of others. He managed several tax credit programs for the City of Yonkers such as the NYS Empire Zone, the NYS Brownfields and the Federal Empowerment Zone programs. Martin also was the producer and host of the City’s TV program, “Yonkers on the Move.” He also helped manage Yonkers Business Week, the largest event of its kind in the Tri-State Area. Previous to working in Yonkers, he was the Regional Sales Manager for Gold’s Gym in North Carolina and over saw nine health clubs.
Martin Ball was born, raised and still resides in Yonkers with his wife Kristin. He is part of the Sacred Heart Parish in North West Yonkers, where he attended Sacred Heart’s Grade School and High School. Martin then attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and studied Business Marketing with a Minor in Communications.
Martin is very active in his community. He coached Sacred Heart’s Boy’s Basketball in Yonkers for three years. He is a Founder and Director of the Yonkers Professionals Network and sits on the Board of Directors for the Beczak Environmental Education Center in Yonkers. Martin is also part of the Central Park Conservancy Tree Planting Organization. He is the Yonkers Leader for Habitat for Humanity, sits on the Advisory Board for the Lincoln Academy of Finance and (NFTA) the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship. Martin is also very involved with the American Cancer Society and helps with their efforts for the Annual Relay for Life event in Yonkers.

A talented administrator, marketing executive, fundraiser and producer is the President & CEO of Jazzmobile, Inc., the oldest not-for-profit arts organization created, solely; to promote America’s Classical music, Jazz – through education and performance programs. The organization was founded in 1964 by Dr. Billy Taylor and (the late) Daphne Arnstein. Prior to joining Jazzmobile, Ms. Bell-Stevens served as Director of Marketing and Creative Services, Jazz at Lincoln Center— the largest not-for-profit arts organization committed to promoting appreciation and understanding of jazz. Bell-Stevens currently serves on the Board of: The Louis Armstrong Educational Foundation, Jazz Studies Department at Columbia University, WBGO Jazz 88.3 FM Community Advisory Board, The Women’s Committee of the Central Park Conservancy, and The Carter Burden Center for the Aging.
