Barbara Hanlon joined Westfair Communications Inc., a White Plains-based publishing firm, in 1993 as a display account manager. She was responsible for selling advertising in the Westchester and Fairfield County Business Journals, two separate weekly local business publications. She served in that capacity until being named advertising director in June 1996 and associate publisher in June 1998.
Before joining Westfair, Barbara was a reporter for the Hudson Valley News, a Thomson publication, based in Orange County, N.Y.
She began her media career in Manhattan at the national TV spot-sales rep firm TeleRep.
Her following career move took her to the media buying service Air Time for four years, first as a media estimator then as media group supervisor.
Barbara is currently responsible for a sales department comprised of seven account reps, selling for three publications, the Business Journals and Westfair’s most recent addition Hudson Valley Business. She’s also accountable for setting and achieving sales goals for the company, as well as heading the Custom Publishing division.
A graduate of the State University at Farmingdale, Barbara lives in Dutchess County.

George Hudak is President and Founder of ImageMakers, a full-service interactive communications design firm located in Brookfield, CT. ImageMakers provides marketing services in the areas of advertising planning, creative development and production, media planning and placement. Mr. Hudak has a unique ability to combine marketing savvy with the creative and technical. His special talents and achievements have earned him the prestigious CLIO Award, the ADDY Award, a Cine Golden Eagle, a Gold Medal from the New York Film Festival, and a Silver Award from the Chicago Film Festival. Asked recently about these distinguished honors, he commented,” It’s not just the awards that set ImageMakers apart; it’s our total dedication to the success of our clients.”
For more than twenty years ImageMakers has provided its communications services to political candidates and consultants, including the campaigns of former NYS Governor George Pataki, Westchester District Attorney Janet DiFiore, State Assemblyman Mike Spano, Yonkers Mayor Phil Amicone, former State Senator Nick Spano, and many others. Most recently Mr. Hudak has produced and directed TV commercials featuring Rudy Giuliani and Mike Bloomberg. “We understand the needs of our clients,” Mr. Hudak noted. “Our approach is always innovative, sometimes unconventional, and with only one goal- that our clients succeed.
Mr. Hudak has held numerous positions with state and local groups, political campaigns, and non-profit organizations. He has served on the boards of Westchester Red Cross (Marketing Committee), Norwalk Community Technical College (Graphic Advisory Committee), and the Salesian High School Board (Development Committee).
Mr. Hudak earned an A.B.A. in Communications from Fordham University and a B.F.A. in Film and Television from New York University. He began his career as a filmmaker producing TV commercials for NBC-TV (NY) and writing and directing corporate films.. He has been featured in in the New York Times, Gannett, NY Daily News, NY Post and other publications. While deservedly proud of his impressive professional achievements, Mr. Hudak is quick to point out that his most important role is that of husband to his wonderful wife, Susan, and father to his children, Nicholas and Maggie.
